Jimmy Goes On Vacation "Are we there yet?" little Jimmy asked his mother as they drove along. "Yes!" his mother finally answered. That's what he'd been waiting to hear. Through the car window, little Jimmy could see some big mountains. "I can't wait!" Jimmy thought to himself. Finally they pulled up into a campsite. But it was late, so his family set up camp and went to sleep not long after they got there. "We'll go hking tomorrow," little Jimmy's mother assured him. The next day Jimmy and his dad set out on a trail that led up the mountain. Jimmy saw all kinds of birds, animals, plants he had never seen before. "Be careful," little Jimmy's dad warned, "You see that plant there? It's poisonous, so touch the thorns." Jimmy and his dad were approaching the peak of the mountain. There was one spot in particular that dropped straight down. "Don't get too close to the edge," his dad said. "Don't worry dad, I'm being careful," little Jimmy said. But as he said this, he felt a prick in his arm and noticed that it had been pierced by several thorns of the plant his dad had warned him about. Jimmy quickly jerked his arm back, and when he did this, he lost his balance and went plummeting down to earth off the side of the cliff. "Wow! I'm flying!" Jimmy thought right before he hit bottom. After he did, Jimmy saw that he was still alive even though most of the bones in his body were broken. Little Jimmy could hardly move, so he waited to be rescued. A couple of hours later, the poison kicked in and he became a vomiting, writhing mass. The pain was unbearable as he went into violent spasms and bit through his tongue. Then Jimmy finally died. THE END.
